Refund and Cancellation Policy

The Dalai Lama Foundation is committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in all donations received through our website and other approved channels. We appreciate your generous support towards our charitable initiatives.

Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before making a donation.

Refund Policy:

  1. Donors are requested to provide accurate, complete, and authentic information while making an online donation.
  2. Donations made to the Dalai Lama Foundation are voluntary contributions towards charitable purposes and are generally non-refundable.
  3. If you believe you have made an error while donating (such as an incorrect donation amount, duplicate transaction, or unintended donation), please notify us within 2 working days of the transaction by emailing foundationdalailama@gmail.com.
  4. All eligible refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If approved, refunds will be initiated through Razorpay and credited back to the original payment method in accordance with Razorpay’s processing timelines, which generally take 7–10 working days depending on the payment method and the donor’s bank.
  5. You will receive an acknowledgement confirming whether your online donation transaction was successful or unsuccessful.
  6. If you have enrolled in a recurring donation programme and wish to discontinue future donations, you may contact us at foundationdalailama@gmail.com. Upon receiving your request, we will make every reasonable effort to cancel future recurring payments before the next scheduled billing cycle and will confirm the cancellation via email.
